So Im totally feeling amazing right now. I went for my consultation and ask all the questions that I needed to ask. I go back monday to sign my consent forms. I ask if there was any way we could put the surgery off till the end of the month so I can register my son for school and do a few other things I need to have done. And the doctor said I can have my surgery on the 28th. Which is totally amazing. I will stay in hospital for 23 hours. This gives my husband time to take off work and to be with me and Skyler. And the doctor said I should be walking before I even leave the hospital. He said I will be able to shower and everything when I come home I do need to stay in bed for about a week then have someone drive me back to his office to check my progress and if all goes well. After 2 weeks I should be able to drive . And then after that he would tell me when Im able to workout and lift stuff again. This is one amazing surgery so Im not nervous anymore. Actually Im kind of excited. And on the way out I told the doctor give me a high five. He smiled and laughed and is the coolest doctor ever so I feel totally safe knowing that he is doing my procedure
