So Im watching this movie right now. This speech comes on. It reminded me of what recently Bob Moloney and Tracy Flynn Moloney reminded me of. Of where I was a year ago. Fired from a good job, just starting to call games again and searching for consistent employment with bills piling up. I didnt have the puck I didnt have the confidence. Then in January finally the metaphorical puck took a good bounce with this SHU Sports Com & Media program. I at that point was afraid to lose. I dont have that fear anymore and now look forward to how many times Ill lose within my career field because starting here in Ct, I took the risk and the chance. I had forgotten about this speech, but it makes all the sense in the world now, and Im sure that when I was younger and watched this for the first time, I was not afraid to lose. These films maybe fun, goofy, physically inaccurate of actual hockey, but its the lessons like this that stick with kids for a long time and make these films worth it. https://youtube/watch?v=MqB7f9hZaFg
