So... Ive acquired this taste for writing, Ive been reading a lot in the past year or so, and decided I wanted to try it for myself. Ive been thinking of this story for a while, so most of the key components are all set out in my mind. Now the difficulty of creating a road to join these parts of this story is going to be the main trick to its completion. I dont expect it to be more than at least 1000 words, but I might surprise myself. I hope that I get some readers, otherwise this was all just a big waste of time. Here goes. The suburban town of Langcquistñ, Queensland; a town of little interest to the rest of the world, and a town some regret residing in, simply for the inactivity that goes on around here. Simple houses, simple jobs, simple shops, simple people; simplicity was the main aspect of this town. It was away from everything, just another hic town full of countrymen. Even though so many regretted staying here, they found that they couldnt leave; it was home for them; for all 400 of its citizens. They all knew each other, at least some what. There was no mystery, no secrets... there was nothing but people existing in what they call life. As if such an existence was really living. This is our new life, away from the city, its going to be great! said a man, sitting in the drivers seat of a red Mitsubishi Hatchback. He had light brown hair, and a soft face; what ever line of work he had, it didnt involve much physicality. He looked over to the woman next to him, smiling at her briefly, only to return his attention to the road before him. Well live peacefully and quietly, what better place to raise the kids, right hon? The woman smiled softly back at him, her ice blue eyes locking on onto his brown ones; she continued to look at him as he continued driving. She hesitated for a moment before answering. ... Of course it is, Seth. she replied as if she was unsure. Seth ignored her slow response, he was too excited about the possibilities before him. She had long blond hair, tied back in a wind bound style. Her pony tail was made high at the back of her head, with hair falling down her neck. Two children sat in the back of the small car, sitting on opposite sides of the seats, as if they were completely aware of each others every small movement. Stay on your side, Shelly! cried a small boy, no more than eight years old. He had short blonde hair, and a boyish looking face. An even smaller girl was slowly and surely moving her foot towards the boy, glancing at him from the corner of her eye, smirking at the boys reaction. Im allowed to... she said, her response not making much sense in response to the demand of the boy. Youre not the boss of me! she said, poking her tongue. She also had short hair, only an inch or so longer than that of the boy next to her. Although her hair color was the same as the man driving the car. M-Muuum! Shellys annoying me! whined the little boy. Shelly! snapped the mother as she turned her head around to her daughter. She bore an expression of frustration and anger. Leave your brother alone! You know hes sick! she scolded her, before turning around, glancing at the man next to her before turning her attention to the passing trees outside her window. Both of the children settled down, as if they were reminded of the boys sickness. Im sorry Bradly... said the small girl, tears were almost forming on her face as she looked at the boy next to her innocently. He looked back at her, smiling a small smile. Its ok... he replied, he continued to look at her, until she turned away. Once she did, so did he. They both stared out of their respective windows, admiring the scenery. So much green... the boy thought to himself. Their destination wasnt quite within the town, though it still counted as part of it. Were here family! Seth said enthusiastically. He pulled up in the drive way, checking out the shutter of the garage that he would be spending a lot of his free time in. He set on the handbrake, turning the keys within the ignition anti-clockwise. He than looked back at the children, clapping his hands together to emphasize the fun they were going to have. Lets go guys! and with that, he was out the door almost instantly. The rest of the family followed. Once they had entered, each person spread out around the house, observing the space that was going to be their home. Shelly saw a very large room, and immediately ran for it, checking out its size before taking a deep breath. This room is miiiiine! You cant just have whatever room you want, Shelly! retorted Bradly, calling out from a much smaller room that he himself was only a second from claiming. Dont worry, kids. called out the mother. Youre both going to have your own rooms. But Shelly, that room is mine and your fathers. she told the girl in a reasonable voice. Although all she got in return was the cry of a spoiled child who couldnt handle not getting her own way. The mother clenched her teeth together in anger, but decided to ignore her daughters petulance. Pheeeweee! exclaimed the father, as he entered the kitchen. Damn Dianne, youre gonna love this place. Come and see your new home! he teased her. Haha she laughed sarcastically as she looked at the man that was making fun of her. On that note, Seth, lets get take out. After such a long day, I really dont want to cook tonight... Ok hon. Seth replied, smiling, attempting to leave to scout more of the house. Dianne approached him however, grabbing hold of his hips, smirking as she forced his attention to return to her. She bought him closer to her, forcing his lower regions to rub up against hers. I love when you do what I say... she said with a cheeky tone. I think we need to celebrate our new found home, darling... she said, not in a suggestive tone, but a demanding one. Uhh haha, hon, the kids are only in the next rooms, w-wait until tonight! he said in a nervous and laughing method. Though as he said that, he was clearly thinking the opposite. Hehe, ok... she said, separating her nether regions from his, instead planting a wet kiss against his mouth. A few hours passed, the family had settled in completely. At the entrance of the home, to the right, the master bedroom was filled with bits and pieces of clothing, folded neatly in a pile on the ground. In the corner of the room, there was a box television set, displaying a fading picture, obviously not gaining the best reception in this small town. Dianne stared at this sorry picture, frowning in disappointment. I half expected this... but still... Dont worry Dianne, Geoff is going to pick me up in a few days, Ill go back with him then. Seth said as he looked at the woman, staring at the back of her head, and down to her jeans, admiring what he was proud to call his. We should be able to bring everything with us in one trip. Then well never see that city again! he said in a cheerful and reassuring tone. She stared back at him, smiling happily. Well, this will do for now deary. I used to watch that TV show: black and white ants a lot with my little brother. she joked. Hm, I didnt know such a TV show existed to be honest. he replied dumbly. She shook her head, smiling at him. She turned around, walking back towards him, reaching for his cheek with a twinkle in her eye. Mum! Dad! Bradlys not breathing! came the cry of a little girl. Such a randomly said thing, yet it had the most dire affect on the couple with in the room. What?! cried Dianne, as she left her husband immediately, rushing past the little girl, almost barging into her in her advance. The father too had jumped to his feet, the bulge in his pants declining at what his daughter told him. Watch out babe. he said calmly as he moved past the little girl, who followed her father close behind. The three of them soon entered the room which Bradly was staying, only to find the motionless body of a child laying on the floor, his eyes wide open and a white frothy substance leaking from the corner of his mouth. In his hands were two different action figures, and more of the toys were spread across the room. ... the mother was speechless; for her eyes were staring directly into the stationary eyes of her baby boy. Bradly...? she said in shock. (Thats it, I know it was short, but it turns out I wouldnt mind doing this in chapters, even if they are very short chapters. Im inexperienced! Anyway, I really hope I get some readers, because if I dont, I probably wont bother finishing this story. And Ive got so many ideas, so dont kill my ideas! READ! D:< Also if I do get readers, please review for me, tell me if you see any mistakes, or maybe make some suggestions.)
