So, Ive been attempting to watch The Clone Wars. Again... I just cant do it. Star Wars is one of the best things in my life and this cartoon is just about one of the worst. Im not trying to start the Canon Wars, but how, with so many continuity errors is this considered canon? It blows my mind. Ive only been able to stand sitting through a couple of episodes and already, there are too many questions. How can Anakin have a padawan? At the end of Episode 2 was he not a just a padawan himself? Why would the Jedi counsel trust someone so young with something so important? Especially someone they barely trust enough to allow becoming a Jedi in the first place. Also, these added characters that are now so integral to the story, how are they such a big deal in the cartoons yet not mentioned once in the movies? The ENTIRE PLOT of the prequels and cartoon is based on one line from A New Hope. I would think that something as important as Anakin having a padawan would be mentioned in the movies at least once. Again, Ive only been able to sit through the first couple of episodes, but im guessing that Dookus apprentice is in the whole shebang... which in turn makes her a very improtant character the the plot, right? WHY, OH WHY, ISNT SHE MENTIONED ONCE IN THE MOVIES!?!?!? I could keep going but I wont. Id appreciate the feedback of my fellow fans to help me understand what is in my opinion, the worst thing (yes, worse than the holiday special) to happen to the best thing in my life.
