So Ive been lurking in this group for a long time, I may as well introduce myself. Im Demian, an AI and philosophy student (I study cognitive artificial intelligence and philosophy) and a psychologist (Ai is my second study.) I am writing a book on ethics, and I think nihilism has a great ethical ontology; There is no universal right and wrong - right and wrong are artifacts of consciousness. My favourite philosophers (I use the term loosely) are Nietzsche, Descartes, Mackie, Kurzweil (I think hes a philosopher in a way), Rand and Aubrey de Grey. Im not depressed in any way, nor do I think universal meaninglessness / pointlessness is in any way bad; I consider it liberating. I am a radical transhumanist, and I identify as postgender. I take life extending medicine (scientifically proven to work stuff, not the supplement crap). I own a small business (Online casino) and am working on trading on foreign exchange for my money; I am proactively trying to expand so I can make obscene amounts of money. Im engaged with an upcoming nanobiologist :) ask me anything you want.
