So Ive been reading these articles about Chipotle Mexican Grill and this ad campaign they have been/will be running about factory farms and I got to thinking about it while feeding with a -35 windchill. Facebook is a big medium so maybe some one can tag them in this. I offer up this offer: come to my farm and spend a couple days while its dead of winter and my family spends hours bedding, watering, and feeding to keep things warm and nourished. Then maybe Lindsey can bring a bum lamb in and nurse it back to life knowing damn well if it lives its mother will never claim in and we will spend more on milk replacer than its worth. Then maybe they can explain to Trace why they feel they need to spread the word that farmers raise theyre stock in horrible conditions. My bet is they wont respond because like most activist they prefer the shock factor to the general public more than facts. Ok Ive vented but it kills me when people run my way I life. I dont tell them where to put theyre restaurants why should they assume they have any knowledge of my business.
