So Ive seen a few people on my timeline post stories like this one, apparently in order to some how defend or justify what went on in Ferguson, MO. A few things with this... First off, lets examine the source...Hermain Cain. I really dont need to go too much in depth with that, do I? Ok, lets proceed. Secondly, if this is true, dont you think pictures of the officers alleged bruised and beaten face would have been released in order to quell the outrage of the people. I mean, the name of the game has always been to try and justify why Mike Brown deserved to be gunned down, right? Remember when George Zimmermans scratches and scars were played up on TV to justify him defending himself by shooting Trayvon Martin in cold blood? Why not do the same in this situation. Third, take a look at the autopsy report along with the eyewitness accounts and this story is quickly refuted. And lastly, what happened to the Taser? I get that simply being a black man over 6 feet is an act of aggression in itself. I get that we all fit the description. Those are topics for another post. All Im saying is if the guy is unarmed, why not tase and detain. Ive seen countless videos of white suspects going ballistic on police where it took multiple officers to restrain and eventually tase him. He got to live another day until cooler heads prevailed. But not unarmed black men. We get the full clip. Now, I wont tag those who have posted these articles, nor will I comment on your page. Neither action will be constructive when it comes to the conversation that needs to be had. Right now, everyone is in defense mode trying to make justifications to take race out of the equation. But you cant take it out of the equation...race relations IS the equation i.e. problem. I totally agree that we should wait and let all of the facts come in before passing judgment, but the key word in that sentence is FACTS!
