Thats why the next Labour government will raise the minimum wage to £8 an hour by 2020. My reply You are having a laugh arent you? By the time we get to 2020 that will be equivalent to a cut given projected rises in the cost of living. Think again! We need policies and big ideas that will enthuse the electorate to come out in their droves like in Scotland. Something to get this country and its people back on their feet again by the end of 2015. We need hope and optimism. We are sick of Tory lies. They will, no doubt, promise the earth to the right like further tax cuts to those earning over 100K per year, tougher immigration, completing the privatisation of the NHS and construction of a wall built by scroungers that the unemployed can be put up against and shot. Labour need to radically take the bull by the horns and promise unequivocally to sort this country out or lose the next election. Simple! Now go away and do something to excite the voters or well end up with The Tories for another 5 years G. Phillips
