So... Lucas was in a bit of a wreck today. Hes TOTALLY OK, lets just say that right away! Hes a little sore, but nothing more than expected :) He was rear ended, the vehicle that hit his was pretty messed up, probably totaled, but the man driving it is ok too. Getting in an accident would normally be bad news... Right? But heres the miraculous thing ---> BECAUSE Luke was there and stopped his truck, thus getting rear ended by another vehicle, two teenaged kids made it safely across a busy street, at night when the rain makes it harder to see. If Luke hadnt been there, the car that hit him surely would have hit them. Can you even imagine? It makes my heart sick to think of the what-if Luke wasnt there, or was there and didnt see them to stop. All this to say... What a reminder that God can put us right in the middle of a wreck, and use it in a good way for the people around us, maybe even to save somebodys life. That when we make a choice to act on whats ahead even when others cannot see, it matters to the people around you. Before we get distracted and discouraged by the wrecks of life we live in at times, pause and look around you to see how youre being used. Be encouraged that because of the experience gained from your wreck, itll be valuable in the process of restoration for another person. Its ALL GOOD! Thanking God for his protection and preciseness over everybody this evening!
