So. My wife cracks me up. Went to a New rink today. Kinda seemed shady. While I was skating the owner came up and asks my wife Are you the ones that messaged me on Facebook? She says Yea, we came down to check out your rink. He asked a couple gen questions, like where ya from n stuff. then she said Yea we check out a bunch of rinks on the east coast. Dude gets a deer in headlights look, he looks around real quick and whispers Are you RSA? My wife didnt like him so she responds calmly with. Dont worry, theres no kangaroo on your wall. he quickly left the conversation. And went back to the ticket booth. I think she freaked him out. Now my interpretation as a skater... Floor is inconsistent. Though I never got to skate it before the New owners got it, repairing the wood or check even leaving it as it was would have probably been better than whats there now. I cant be too harsh because I never got to SEE the floor. The damn LED backlights were on in full effect. God... Talk about an assault on your senses. I felt like I was in a haunted house that was ready to have room partitions assembled. ;) grip was pretty good, aside from the rough 1/3rd of the floor which kinda shifted to a feeling of skating on asphalt. It has carpet. I HATE carpet. It holds dirt and filth like nothing else and completely contaminates your floor with gunk that you just cant see. Its hard to clean ugh. Mopping a cheap tile floor> ANY carpet.
