So Niten Doraku, (Musashi), has been returned to us last night - TopicsExpress

So Niten Doraku, (Musashi), has been returned to us last night from the New Haven, Conn area. He has proven to be to much for the Family to handle. I warned them of this eventuality. Even at 4 days old I remember commenting to Renee this dog was going to be a handful. Now that hes back with us he has fallen into his nitch and seems happy. What most people see as an unruly or ill mannered dog just doesnt grasp the concept of a strong willed dog needing a firm hand. Even though his parents are Great Pyrenees, when God made Musashi He pulled from some ancient genetic material and gave us the precursor to the Great Pyrenees, The Pyrenean Mountain Dog. Much larger, more Wolf like, stronger; in strength and will, more clever and definitely a better Guardian. For those folks that know Great Pyrenees and all of their traits, the Pyrenean Mountain Dog is a hundred fold. We still havent decided whether we will keep him and add him to our Pedigree. Im inclined to do so, but who knows what God has in store for my Musashi. Here are some pics of him a few days old, a few weeks old, then last night while he was being quarantined at a dog house next to our front door and then this afternoon when he was placed in Pasture 3 with an older Newfoundland and an older beagle cross, both of these Family Members will begin to teach him how its done on the Martin Homestead.
