So RadioShack closing 1,100 stores and I have to say Im not surprise. Sad yes, but surprised? Not really. When I started working there I had to learn everything about the store, including the parts, what were they for, and how to help customers find parts to fix electronics. It was actually awesome and I loved learning about all that crap (geek yes..nerd duh...but so what!) Then it slowly started going into the sell more phones..open more contracts blah blah blah and it kinda lost the fun :( now its all about how many cell phones you can sell with a contract, how many accessories you can attach and how much commission you can make on that sale...sighs...their downfall...maybe i shouldve gone the electrical engineering route instead :-/
