So, Shia Lebouf is directing a short film to accompany Cages album Kill The Architect. The film will feature Cage, Eli Roth & Marilyn Manson. Ummm...okay. Random. First...I find it odd/interesting that Shia Lebouf is going against the grain when it comes to his career now. Probably not the smartest move ever...but I can respect that hes just doing what he wants to do. Personally, I woulda milked Transformers til the day I died...cant beat that Michael Bay money! Second...its very strange that Shia Lebouf & Cage have a clique now. Who woulda ever imagined little Even Stevens guy was so dark? Third...I NEVER would have thought way back in the day when Cage dropped Agent Orange, was in The Source with all those toothpicks in his mouth and had his little beef with Eminem that hed still be relevant in 2013. In fact...Agent Orange is really one of the only Cage songs I ever liked up until his last album. But, somehow dude has resurrected his career & started making interesting music. I Never Knew You was a brilliant song...if youre looking to hear a song about what a serial killer thinks prior to killing a victim, of course. But, prior to that song Cages psycho demeanor always seemed forced & fake...but he finally figured out how to sell it well on I Never Knew You. So, Im interested to see how this short film turns out.
