So.... Taliban are effectively closing some of the polling stations in Afghanistan AND an Afghani police chief just murdered Anja Neiderlinghaus... 2,175 American soldiers dead and nearly the same number of contractors. More than $700 BILLION dollars... So, WTF? Al Jazeera commentator says yes, we have acccomplished a lot. Most especially in getting girls into school. As mothers they will have a profound impact on the fate of education in that country. I agree.
