So. This evening I saw a rabbit get hit by a car on 340. I turned around to see if I could help him. Both his legs were broken and he became extremely distressed the closer I got to him. Left a message with the wildlife rescue center and their ER vet. No calls back. Websites say to leave the injured rabbit alone as capture and travel can be extremely stressful/painful for the animal. What a lesson in POWERLESSNESS. Feels pretty awful. Please pray, send good vibes/thoughts/juju to this rabbit.
