So... Tonight I got thrown out of the gig after running off the stage mid-set to help someone from assaulting our friend/colleague/& promoter of the show that night. Hugh played another song, then abruptly just turned off the music and unplugged the hard drive and headphones. The promoter got on the mic and said nobody is playing any music unless Bryan Jones gets let back in to finish his set meanwhile Hugh already left the venue. We got the text to say it was all good and came back and played tunes til the end. Much love always Layer Cake Presents. We got your back. Btw apologies to the venue, thats not my style, but I couldnt watch someone attack my friend (for the 2nd time that night) and not do anything about it and look myself in the mirror. I apologized to the guy who threw me out and he said it was alright, so everything is ok and everyone is safe. No more of this shit though. Ive never started a fight in my life. Im so not about that. I just got a huge adrenaline surge seeing a friend in danger and reacted without thinking. Not proud of it or happy it happened at all. Just glad its over and everyone is fine. Gonna have to play the extra good vibes set tomorrow night in Grand Rapids to make the universe balanced again. Night everyone. PLUR and stuff.
