So.... Tuesday night my parked car was rear-ended. This could be a looong story, so heres the readers digest version: Car hit by a Toyota van - accelorator stuck - no one hurt - could have been worse, the car that hit me was scheduled to transport cub scouts to camp. If my car wasnt there, he probably would have hit two cars or a house. Insurance Company - total non-customer service. Took a lengthy letter to 6 supervisors for my claim to be attended. Insurance wont rent a car for me to take to Tulsa - even though had they returned my calls, the car could have been fixed. Insuance company pays to have the car road worthy so all thats left is the cosmetic stuff - they will do that in Oklahoma and Ill have a rental then. New tires before Seattle, they messed up the sensor in one tire - still not working - Ive been there three times. Verizon was supposed to fix my voice mail - lucky me - now everyone can leave mail - but I cant get it - Ive beent there twice. A good thing is because of getting the car road worthy, I find I need brakes - but as I already posted...I was treated like an idiot, so I left that shop, drove three blocks to Midas and finally - yes FINALLY had good service - and new brakes - which I am scanning the receipt and mailing to the jerk shop. But.... Only one day later than planned, we are headed to be on Tulsa Time for awhile. movoto/tulsa-ok/tulsa-facts/ To try and save this horrid week, I went to the Jordan River Temple tonight - saw a great friend from work and didnt even know another great great friend was there too.
