So Why am I so passionate about what I do...because I know there are people out there just like me. If you will indulge me...this is why I used to be embarrassed by my complexion. It was constantly on my mind and I always just hoped people wouldnt stare. But they did, and they would comment, and it hurt. Yup I admit it, it actually hurt, physically, my skin hurt all the time. And yes mentally it hurt too. And at 42 years old (at the time) Id like to say I could rise above it, but little by little it hurt more and more. And I had no solution...the Drs passed me off as not having severe enough problems to warrant any type of treatment. The aestheticians at a high end spas were perplexed by my skin and could not put together a comprehensive regimen for me. They couldnt even come up with something that I could wash my face with that didnt make my skin worse. Never mind trying to make it better. Literally...this is no joke...the owner of the spa rummaged though want looked like a junk drawer to try to find a sample of something that might, possibly address just one of my concerns. Nope...it didnt. So yes...I have tried EVERYTHING from, Infomercials, to CVS to Walmart, to Prescriptions, to REALLY pricey stuff from salons, to pricey in-salon services. Im a do it yourself kinda person so I thought, why is it that I cannot take care of my own skin. Why is this such an issue?? I was at the end of my rope and made a conscious decision to not look in the mirror anymore at my skin, simply to be sure my hair was ok and I did not have spinach in my teeth. And then...like a ray of light...a month later, I was introduced to Rodan+Fields. The business and the products. See I was looking for another solution too. I now have a thriving business, with a Globally recognized brand, with loyal clients, and I am building entrepreneurial teams and providing solutions to the everyday person, with everyday needs. I dont have to take on a part time job away from my family. I dont have to sacrifice my job that pays the bills while I am building a business. It is will able and a sale able asset. And I can do it in, around and alongside my life, so I can live a fuller life with my family. So that is why I am passionate about this. Am I a skin care Junkie? No, I had awful skin and now I dont. I wash my face, get incredible life changing results and I tell people about it. They become a preferred client, a business partner or a connector to someone that they know has a need. That is what I do. That is what keeps this mom, wife, entrepreneur focused on the important stuff.
