So, a couple of weeks ago, a girl at work, in an effort to make fun of me for enjoying church, says to me So, does it feel good to repent? I turned around and asked if she was talking to me to which she said yes. And I told her that people go to church for different reasons. I go because it helps keep me on track to who I want to be. And by the end of the week, I really need to go to church so I can start the next week off fresh. My current job has me working the entire weekend and I rely on the internet to attend services that I cannot attend in person. It isnt the same, but it is what it is for now. But this is Pastor Ron Zappia. I chatted with his wife once a couple if years ago at a luncheon about why so many people enjoy listening to Pastor Ron. He is very matter of fact about the Bible, but he also puts a twist on it to compare it to our lives today... all while adding funny little comments to keep our attention. After listening to Pastor Ron, you understand why people go to church. (Although this is a video below and not a service.) We all have different gifts. Some people have been given the gift to be great teachers. We all need a teacher for one thing or another. As much as I feel Gods presence in my life... I still need a gifted teacher in my life. Thanks for sharing your gift Pastor Ron! (By the way, I have met bmany people who listen to his services on the radio. He touches ALOT of lives with his talent to communicate in an entertaining way to touch so many people.)
