So a few weeks ago, I was looking around the house to find our homeschooling Bible. Lance looked at me with a bit of a sad face (..thinking he was going to get in trouble). He confessed that he gave it away to one of the boys on his gymnastics team. He also fessed up that he gave one of his older Bibles to one of the other boys on the team as well. Last week, I saw him going up to the coach at the end of practice, inviting him and his whole family to come to our church. Sweet, huh? :) Lance use to talk about being on this gymnastics team as a way to be a better athlete and make it to Regionals, and then to Junior Olympics, and then to the World Olympics one day. I mean after all, he has 2 World Class coaches and 1 Olympic Gold Medalist training him. Things have changed a bit. NOW.....he tells me that he has one purpose of being on that team and that is to tell the team about Jesus. Hes going to compete in a few of the competitions this season, but hes more concerned that his team mates know God. MAN! I wanna be more like my boy: Fearless and with a purpose.
