So a few weeks ago I was released from my church calling of Elders Quorum President after 5 years of service here in Warsaw. For those of my family and friends that are not of my faith, basically in our church...most of the responsibilities are volunteer based and we have no paid clergy. When the Stake President (area church leader) released me from this calling, I expressed to him that I was soon to turn 40 and I really wasnt fulfilled in my work responsibilities He said to me, You know, 40 is about when most people finally find a job that they are passionate about. It is when they finally know what they want to be when they grow up. He is so right! Recently, I have been on a self discovery mission. It started with reading the book 48 Days to the Work You Love by Dan Miller and I continue to feed myself daily things of a positive message both scriptural and business and personal development. You know back in early 2000 somethings happened in my very successful business that were just crushing. At that time, Alisha and I felt strongly that the Lord was giving us a taste of what it was like to be successful and then took it away so that we would remember for a time so that when he again blessed us we would know what we should do. As I turn 40 today, I want to tell all of you...that I have found my passion. I have found what I love to do. I know with all my heart that if I have faith and ask of my Heavenly Father for that which is right, I WILL be successful. My domain name of careaboutyoursuccess is REALLY that to me. It has a double meaning. I care about YOUR success...but YOU also need to care about your success. If we BOTH care abour your success; then there is zero doubt in my mind that you will be successful. I KNOW that I can help so many more people if I am in a position to help as opposed to being part of the problem. Despite Obamacare (good or bad), or what is happening in the world or the stock market, government etc. I can take matters into my own hands and so can anybody else. I love you all!
