So a few years ago my friend held a fundraiser for an animal organization. She asked people to donate money and of course I did. The problem was that instead of donating anonymously, she gave them my name and address. Since then Ive started to get 5-20 pieces of mail from animal organizations. So I finally decided to take action. Ive informed each organization that I will stop all donations to all organization regarding animals until the mail stops. Ive emailed and telephone called each group that sends me mail. Hoping this will make a dent in the amount of gasoline, paper, bleach, ink, and plastic wasted annually in the pursuit of unsolicited donations. (Ill probably still anonymously donate, but they dont need to know that)
