So a former chief of RBS sees Independence as an opportunity not a threat. It would be really good if we could have a sensible discussion about finances away from all the media manipulation find out exactly where the risks are and what the opportunities are - I feel Ive read lots on the benefits that will come with Independence - been really impressed with the Wee Blue Book. But everything Ive read about staying with the Union looks like short term risks and re-organisation. Surely if energy was spent being a bit more balanced - wed get a clearer picture. Its not all doom and its not all rose tinted. Independence isnt some magic wand where were all going to get rich overnight, it does come with risks, but so does staying with the Union - as history has proven. Plus it is one aspect of this Independence debate - there is a bigger picture, we could go around and around in circles on this discussion and it just makes us all dizzy and nauseous . Surely we all just want a better Scotland.
