So, a little fine tuning coming up in the Operating Room on - TopicsExpress

So, a little fine tuning coming up in the Operating Room on Wednesday morning. Nothing too serious and it shouldn’t take long. Stubborn kidney stone. Best news, we’ve “put the band back together” for this event, and I couldn’t be happier! On the business end of the scope at the far end of the table that’s surgeon, and PRMC Chief of Surgery, urologist Dr. Mark Edney, while anesthesiologist extraordinaire, Dr. Conworth Dayton-Jones, will be at the head end. Same guys who safely and compassionately guided the removal of that freakin cancer laced prostate of mine in November of 2012. That’s a HUGE comfort level knowing I have two of the finest gentlemen in the world and two of the most outstanding physicians anywhere in charge of what’s left of this 53-year-old body while I’m out cold. And let’s not forget the terrific and talented same day surgery, surgical and recovery teams at Peninsula Regional Medical Center, too! I suspect the morning will be a bit groggy coming off the anesthesia, so here’s the disclaimer…anything I agree to do should I wander onto Facebook tomorrow afternoon shall be considered null and void. No leaf raking, car washing, snow shoveling, or golf strokes given will be honored come Thursday morning. Rhonda, Laren or Gwenn will handle anything at work that you need on Wednesday. I should be back on the hospital campus Thursday morning, only vertical and fully clothed this time. Gracias and Adios, for now!
