So, a little late but a one month update on the sour brown w/ wyeast 3209-PC oud bruin blend from the July Brew Session. Color is lighter than anticipated but tasting pretty nice. Cherries in the aroma, sweetness initially in the flavor with quite a bit of tartness for a 1 month old sour. I would recommend anyone to try this strain while its available to make a quick malty sour beer. I plan to add the oak spirals from our pinot noir soon and maybe keg by the end of Sept. Daan , please pitch this into half of your upcoming sour stout.
