So a new movie about the life of Jesus, namely Son Of God, hits the movie theaters but it is NOT really new--its material from the 2013 History Channel Miniseries The Bible that solely focuses on Jesus. For once, I would like to see a movie produced focusing solely on Jesus Resurrection to His Ascension. There are enough Gospel Passages in all four Gospels with additional passages in Luke (The Walk to Emmaus) and John (Jesus multiple post-Resurrection appearances to his Apostles and His talking to Peter Simon son of John, do you love me?). If Mel Gibson can take two Gospel chapters to create his two hour Passion movie, then certainly someone can take the Gospels accounts from The Resurrection to The Ascension and produce a Glorious movie with the same approximate time length. What do you think??
