So a reason for confusion about neuropathy is how its been explained (or not explained) to me. What I was first diagnosed with, peripheral neuropathy, I think was from electrical testing on my leg? Not for sure. Thats typically described as a hand n feet nerve problem. It has to be searched in-depth to realize its talking about much more than hands n feet. Like I got 2 info guides yesterday at my regular dr. Both for peripheral neuropathy. One ONLY explains a hands n feet disorder. Nothing else. The other, also about peripheral neuropathy, explains how it can effect the entire body. A while back, i was later diagnosed with neuropathy, after some electrical testing stuff was hooked up to my head. So the neurologist still wasnt explaining the types. But yeah, thats a reason I didnt think it would be something that includes heart problems, possibly explaining my throat problem, the feeling faint when going upwards from certain positions, n other symptoms Ive had. So I was thinking neuropathy was some kinda muscular problem that didnt involve other symptoms. I think I was thinking of it as something like how fibromyalgia is described.
