So a very freaky thing just happened to me. I was watching a show called Hangar 1, where they talk about Aliens, UFOs, human interaction with them, and that sort of thing. In the episode that I watched, they were talking about the fact that the US could possibly have a fleet of triangular ships that is in space protecting us. Crazy right? I thought so too. Then they say that people were seeing these things all over the world, with a ton of sightings in Belgium, in the late 80s/early 90s. Again, no real reason to be concerned. Its another UFO sighting and the show is interesting so I keep watching. Then they show what the ship looks like and I immediately feel like someone just slapped me in the face. The reason? I have seen the ship that they show on the screen. Not just something that looks like it, the exact same thing. Whats even creepier is that this occurred in the late 80s (in 1989 if I remember right) and I havent really even thought about this for a very long time, but as soon as I see the picture, I remember it like it was yesterday. Every detail is exactly as I remember it. Exactly. What I was watching on TV was the same ship I had seen over 20 years ago. So, the background story: I was out in my yard at night with the spotting scope my dad had (a long barrel telescope) looking at stars. Looking up, I see a red light with three white lights in a triangular pattern. It was fairly low. At first it moves slowly, then it stops. I thought it was a helicopter, but I noticed the lights werent blinking like lights on a helicopter or airplane. I remember it moving quickly and then it was gone. So, I freak out a little bit thinking I may have seen a UFO and go inside. I told my Dad what happened and he figured it was a plane or something since we had them fly over our property quite a bit. With that, I forgot about it. I dont remember the exact time of year it happened, but I remember it being cold and I had to go grab a coat because I was out longer than expected. Now here is where it gets really crazy. I just looked up PA UFO sightings for 1989. Here is what I found: Feb. 24, 1989; Butler, PA 8:00 PM. A multi-colored triangular shaped object flew over the town of Butler, Pennsylvania making a roaring sound. (Source: Stan Gordon, MUFON field investigation file 900310). So, today, I saw a TV show about a UFO that I saw almost 25 years ago that may be part of a US fleet, completely forgot about it, then, once I remembered it, did some research and found I probably wasnt the only person who saw it. Yep, I think this counts as an interesting day.
