So a year back I completed my feature film script, on paper. Its been running in my head for two years before that. Its an adventure, surreal genre but for most people to understand it better I usually say fantasy. Who ever has read it has liked it but they assume it would need graphics. I hate graphics heavy films (Not animation films,I love them). Because anything is possible with graphics. I thing there it is more challenging when you need to execute something without graphics. I love watching films that were made during the pre graphics era. So even though i might not have a name for my script yet I know very clearly how I want the film done, by making sure half the production cost doesnt go into the computer graphics department. So then I see this interview and the trailer for this film, I feel reassured that even though half my life will be gone convincing somebody in India about what ideas I have, there is somebody in France who has similar thoughts as mine. Feels even good to know that he is a director who has directed one of my favourite films and shot it it with one of my favourite actresses.
