So, about 15 years ago Patty determined that she did not “feel right”. She called me at work one day and said, “I think I’m pregnant”. I told her to get tested. The next day she said, “It must be something else. I’m not pregnant.” A few days later she said, “I think I’m pregnant.” I told her to get tested. The next day she said, “It must be something else. I’m not pregnant.” This was repeated 4 more times. Each time the full cycle ended with “I’m not pregnant.” Finally, after a couple of weeks she went to see the Dr. to find out what was wrong with her. The Dr. told her she was pregnant. She said, “That is impossible. I have tested myself and the tests come back negative.” The Dr. asked her, “Which pregnancy kit are you using?” Patty’s answer? “The one from the $.99 Store.” And, by the way, the pregnancy tests at the $.99 Store hang on the rack right next to the condoms. And, yes, this is a true story.
