So after bowling today in the MSBS tournament and getting to see - TopicsExpress

So after bowling today in the MSBS tournament and getting to see many of my friends, it got me thinking about something. I wasnt too happy about missing the cut by 40 pins, BUT on the bright side, I was happy to see the camaraderie amongst bowlers. We all know there isnt a lot of money to win in bowling right now. But I saw a whole bunch of guys today who genuinely enjoy the sport of bowling and also the spirit of competition. I think that we as bowlers should all take a minute to look at that component of tournament bowling. Sure, it would be great to have lots of sponsors and for us to be bowling for 5 grand every tournament, but the reality is that we are doing this because of a love of the game and the excitement of trying to beat our buddies on the lanes. I commend everyone who bowled today in Holly on a tough pattern and Im personally looking forward to bowling more tournaments. While I wont be bowling my own events, I hope to see many of my bowling friends come out for my next couple BCT tournaments, a $30 sweeper tomorrow (Sunday) and our doubles event on the 22nd (2 weeks). It will be great to see some friendly faces once again. As for today, congratulations to my buddy Corey Miller on a very nice win at the Holly MSBS. And to Brian Regan, thanks for putting on another great event. You and Aaron are doing a really good job.
