So after my phone died over the weekend...yes, AGAIN...I made a trip to the Genius bar (they are NOT geniuses btw!). A technician came over to check out my phone; he plugged it in...nothing; looked inside, saw no damage; then asked me to wait while he took it to the back where all spectacular things seem to happen. After a few short moments he returned & concluded that it just died, ...it happens he shrugged. A bit annoyed w/his disingenuous care for my inconvenience, I rolled my eyes while being ushered over to a sales person whose mission was to aid in making the best iphone selection for me. After I told her of my previous woes w/the iphone...her words were are you sure you want to get another one? I thought, FINALLY a real genius is on my side... That was pretty much all I needed to hear in order to take my cute little self upstairs to the AT&T store to check out the Samsung Galaxy - as Apple only sells iproducts. At the store, I inquisitively fondled (yes, fondled) the Galaxy for a few moments while waiting for assistance. Quickly I fell in the alluring trance of the Samsungs sleek handling, large screen & dancing icons...I was convinced! ...ready to slam down $200 and sign my Hancock on another 2yr agreement w/AT&T. A pleasantly plump gentlemen bellowed out Chris B!...I rushed over like an obedient pet eager for a treat! I want a Samsung, I want a Samsung! was all I could manage to squeal out! His belly giggled a bit as he laughed and said sure, but before I go over the features of the Samsung, let me take a look at your phone. Without a thought, I tossed my phone over to him like an old discarded shoe & said the Geniuses downstairs at Apple said it died! I felt empowered after finally makg a decision to switch, go against the grain, become a rebel and stand out against the iWorld!!!!!!!!!!! *evil laugh inserted here* I turned & began looking at Galaxy cases...I needed something just for me..a statement cover...something professional but with a hint of attitude to fit my personality! Less than 20 seconds later (literally 20 seconds) the AT&T guy held up my iphone & said it looks like its working just fine to me... It was the first time I was actually sad to see that damn apple illuminate. It taunted me...I couldve sworn I heard it whisper not yet heffa, not yet! Needless to say Im back with the same ole raggedy phone I had when I left earlier. smh
