So, after talking with Alisha Robinson and Zoë Leo Eriksen the other day I cannot stop thinking about this idea. Raleigh has very few nerd hang out businesses, that are open late at night. I feel like this is because no one thinks Raleigh is a nerd community type place. But really, Raleigh has a HUGE nerd population, just nowhere that really staples home aside from a few yearly events, and small comic and book stores. Ever since my freshman year, I had this idea of a late night coffee, comic store with a gaming corner. Also a corner for local art consignment. The key there is it would be open really late, because I hate having nowhere to go but home to socialize. Problem is, I know NOTHING about opening, running, or handling a business. But I want a place like that in Raleigh, one for comic/gaming/tv/film/ anime/ art nerds to have a hangout spot after nine.
