So, after working really late last night, I made it back to my home town by about 3AM. Im literally 2 miles from my house and this cop passes me in the left lane and is obviously speeding without his lights on. Curious as to how fast he was traveling, as I see cops breaking the speed limit ALL THE TIME, I speed up to pace his speed. He then hits his breaks, pulls me over, and gives me a speeding ticket!!!! Then he proceeds to tell me that he was on his way to an emergency. Without his lights on??? If he was headed to an emergency, why did he not have his lights on and more importantly why did he pull me over for traveling at the same rate of speed as he was?? You would think the emergency would have taken precedence. What is the matter with this picture????
