So although we received some not so good news from my husbands CT scan yesterday, I must say I admire my husband for his strength and positivity. all the while, i could have sulked...But why should I? He isnt ,so no need for me too. I have said this before and i will say it again, He is a Marine, and he is a fighter.. He has been fighting strong for his life, for the past 2.5yrs and i commend him. I have seen chemo, radiation and pain put him dwn but he keeps getting UP! I encourage you, if you dont know this disease(Pancreatic Cancer) ,research it...Its real and hits HARD..So many folks lost their life to this disease, some even found out when it was too late. I have also said, I wish this on NOONE, it is hard seeing your loved one in this state, BUT i must and i will continue to do my part as his wife and his support system. With the grace of GOD and my hard work, I hope to send him on a much needed mini vacation in the nxt couple weeks to a month. Robert Lightskinned Jefferson, you are a Husband, Father, Son, brother...But most of all you are a FIGHTER!! WE GOT THIS, ONE DAY AT A TIME!! #cancersucks, #Pancteaticcancerawareness, #Purple. #Novemberispancreaticcancermonth
