So another day with not one but two visits from colombia gas.. it seems our main heaters valve sprung a leak late yesterday/ last night.. I smelled gas when I got up this morning so they came out and checked it.. told me we needed a new heater.. When Ron got home this afternoon we went and got said heater.. Our house is really old and its hard to see the on off for the line that goes to the heater. Ron had it all hooked up but, there was a minor issue and it wouldnt light so he wanted to make sure the gas was off until he could figure out the issue, He couldnt tell on the gas line valve so I call the gas company back and explained that we had bought and installed the new heater but, we needed to uninstall it and couldnt tell if gas was on or off.. she tells me to call a plumber or heat and air to get them to install it.. i explain that we dont need it installed.. then she says well we dont install appliances.. Im like ok I dont need you too.. she asked if my water heater was working? I told her I know the gas to the house is on, we just cant tell if it is on or off at the heater.. then she asked if I had hot water.. I was done at that point and told her that I smelled gas when he hooked it up.. she sent someone out at that point.. shoulda led with that.. oh well its fixed now and my house is warm.. were good here.
