So anyone who knows me knows that I am a total documentary nerd ... On Netflix new releases for the month there is a frontline documentary called secret state of North Korea and they are showing ome secret footage of the starving children orphans wondering the streets digging through garbage for scraps of food starving and living in below zero temperatures outside ..The reporters with hidden cameras were risking their lives to interview or speak to anyone but when they asked this child how old he was and he said eight years old they asked him why he was living on the streets he could because his mom cannot take care of him so he left...my daughter is eight years old and it broke my heart to see it the look on the childrens faces and in their eyes has a look of complete hopelessness... And my heart breaks in 1 million pieces because it makes me think of my children and how blessed I am to have them how blessed we are to have food at home heat clothing love and each other everything we need... The propaganda that he is spewing to his people is absolutely ridiculous the secret reporters with hidden cameras went into the so-called plentiful stores and asked if they could buy something the sales person said that everything in the store was only for display... I know that North Korea is not the only country where children are starving and living on the street and I know that here in the country there are children going hungry every day and people were starting on the streets as well...personally I dont trust our government or politics politicians in any form to be honest because I know they have an agenda but I have to say that I am blessed to be here because at least there is assistance there are places that hungry people can go to get a hot meal or to get a box of food and I know because I have been to those places when I needed help.. I wish there was a way to help everyone but the least we can do is help our fellow man or woman and specially children any chance we get and people holding street signs all over Salem asking for food or money I try to givesomething when I can even if its just change or a cpl bucks ..because I dont care what they spend it on its The fact that I want to help someone in need because I have been there before..maybe I wasnt holding a sign but I have needed help at times and God bless me with someone or something to help me... My point is that is important to have compassion for each other.. and even if we cant save the world we can do one small thing of kindness and act of generosity and anyway we can for someone who needs help because even if any of you have not been in the position where you needed to ask for help you might be one day and you dont know what it feels like until youve been there so I try to give back as much as possible even if I dont have much.. I know I went on very long about this but when I feel passionately about something I tend to do that LOL but I encourage people watch documentaries about other countries or travel ! try to open your mind to different ideas and different ways of looking at life different ways of thinking its always good to grow as a person to understand people without judgment..... I know we may not be able to save the whole world but here in our own country , and your city, when you see someone that needs help to reach out and do something if you can to help even in a small way to help someone restore their hope and humanity... Learn have compassion and to be kind to others ... I know I went on a little long LOL but I tend to do that when I feel passionately about something...you can show one act of kindness each day to at least one person you might change someones life or just make their day brighter either way you did something selfless without expecting anything in return...God will bless you ...Im thankful ❤️❤️❤️
