So anyway, South Beloit Inn, I had a paint contract with this group from China who bought the building. As u know I say I will match any bid, I did on one bid, but then I rejected it because they then changed what had to be done in diferetn room. so I gave the a new bid for stripping wall paper and painting. all good, till I took off the wall paper and found servere - black mold. real bad. well come to find out the building sat empty for 15 years. and also I talked to a guy at OSHA and apearentyl water ran thru the building underneath like a river. He said the building should be totally gutted. I told new group I could not complete the wrok. but also I had already attempted to cover the mold,, and I refinished all the furniture in the rooms. They would not heat the building in the pool area, it was winter, and below freezing. anyway, after having a lift sitting there unable to get work done, I pulled off the job. so let em sue. they refused to do the job according to local health codes, the old carpet they left in,, mold infested, and well as the moldy matresses. I did call the health department, and this is what frustrates me about Rockford,, they did nothing!!! is this my battle? Know this I warned you all, and I warned them, there is no way in hell I would ever stay in the building. and shame on Winnebago health department as well! and OSHA your a joke too! its not my battle, mine is now agains NEw Chaptor Group. I hope you get run out of this country with your tails between your legs!! :) here is the link for the site. They knew about the problem and did not want to pay the cost to do it right. My NAME is NOT on that building as I told them there is no way in hell I would just tray to cover up whats in there.
