So apparently I can see into the future! The day after I posted that I should be a defensive driving instructor, I was involved in a terrifying crash with a Semi-truck at 55 mph! For some reason, the guy decided he wanted to be in MY lane and cut over. But instead of successfully changing lanes, he ended up impaling my drivers side passenger door with his wheels ridiculously long lug nut...literally attaching my car to his semi! As his wheel spun, it sliced through the passenger door like a can opener. The noise and vibration were horrendous. Despite being totally freaked the hell out, I gained control over my car and disengaged from the semi...cut across a lane of traffic and safely pulled over onto the shoulder. The impact and subsequent damage to the passenger door caused my driver door to buckle in, so I had to crawl out the front passenger door to get out of my car!!! Although the entire drivers side of my poor car is obliterated, Im alive to tell the tale. Very very sore and wearing a splint on my wrist...but alive. So forgive me loves, but Im going to be pretty quiet for awhile as I deal with life for a bit. Fun and games will be back, I promise. ...so just bare with me.
