So, apparently im a dumbass parent because i dont think that loosely putting duct tape over a paci in a childs mouth needs to be classified as child abuse. Should it have ever been done, hell no!! But i save my judgement of child abuse for those that burn their kids with cigarettes, slap them around, leave them alone in a locked hot car where they die, leave them in a bath tub alone where they drown, dump them in a trash can, leave them locked in a closet for days, kill their kids in cold blood simply because they dont want them anymore. THOSE to me are child abuse. im not saying that the duct tape thing is acceptable, im just saying that there are much worse parents out there!! and if that makes me a dumbass, then i guess im a dumbass :) But i also stated several times that i didnt agree with it and it should have never been done.
