So apparently new clips are out on Taobao, sourced from Reddit. Theyre 3rd party, which means not produced from Nerf, so no new blasters :/ From user: RS09 The main issue comes from the fact that if you have the mag fully loaded the darts get a bit of an angle to them as they advance, similar to the issue if you load up a Quick 16 with Elites, but not quite so bad. There are no issues once you get to ~10 left in the mag, but thats when youre no longer using the curved bit. For flywheels this means that youre not getting a consistent contact point for the dart pusher, as each dart seems to load somewhere between fine or a severe angle. Ive had wildly varied results in flywheel blasters. Stryfe wont work past the first shot most of the time because of the dart sensor lock not getting pushed; Demolisher cant seem to get the darts into the flywheels and jams frequently; Stock RS jams immediately with the pusher stuck on top of the dart instead of pushing it; my 180 RS fires through the whole mag, but with wildly inconsistent shots some fine, some barely leaving the barrel, and at a variable fire rate as it doesnt always keep up with the pusher; Rebelle Rapid Red has no issues (makes me guess a modded Stryfe would be your best bet). On the flip side, these seem to work just fine in springers, which I imagine is due to the extra bit of shaking inherent to the operation of the blaster bumping the darts into proper positioning. I can unload a full 15 as fast as I can through a Retaliator multiple times with no jamming whatsoever. I dont have a slamfire on hand, so that might have issues with the little bit quicker firing, but Im no slouch with a Retaliator as far as fire rate goes. Fresh darts are better, but not a solution. Having a decent idea of your performance standards, you would not be happy with these versus straight 18s.
