So apparently there is a thing. A thing? Yes my wife will tell you there is always a thing when Im involved. Anyway Howard Whitehouse is the first in my circle to start this thing and my good friend Bill Thornhill got me into this thing. So I have to name 15 films that I watched in 15 days for 15 hours with 15 people in 15 different languages while eating 15 sandwiches and then 15 of you lot have to apparently do this also. Ill name 15 of you but really dont feel obligated. So my list: 1-Brazil - because it is brilliant. 2-Monty Python and the Holy Grail - because it is also brilliant. 3-Time Bandits - not quite as brilliant as the other two but still pretty damned well brilliant. 4-Baron Munchhausen - yup brilliant. 5-Tremors - the quintessential class B movie and it is brilliant. 6-The Longest Day - B&W brilliance. 7-Ran - Akira Kurosawa brilliance. 8-Lawerence of Arabia - my god the cinematography; just brilliant and that Anthony Quinn did a pretty good job. 9-Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead - OMG funny as hell I just love this movie, brilliant. 10-Branaghs Henry V - pretty dog gone good 11-Branaghs Much Ado About Nothing - Even better than Hank 5. 12-Wizards - 13-The Wind and the Lion - casting Sean Connery as a Barbary Pirate.....BRILLIANT! 14-Die Brücke - it will tear your heart out and it is tied with Das Boot for me; so there I picked 2 at 14. Why? Because I am brilliant! 15-The Fifth Element - just plain fun. OK so now in no particular order here are 15 folks who have 15 days to walk 15 miles while paying 15% in taxes and...wait apparently its just a movie thing.
