So, as I mention in the video, I was nominated (along with The Sunflower staff) for the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge by Duckie and Robbie, two absolutely amazing people. Now, I do apologize for my stuttering in this video, because, clearly, I dont know what to do when I am in front of the camera, and I do apologize for any audio issues, with it being windy+only had the on-cam mic and all. Pardon any misinformation that I said from nervousness as well. Ugh. (Watch in HD if you can). However, seriously, even if you are not nominated, I just ask that everyone (who is able) to head over to alsa.org and click on the big red DONATE tab. Even if you can only donate $1, every little bit helps. Seriously. You never know how many lives you could be impacting. Also, I want to give a shout out to my awesome family for helping me with this: my younger sister Karis and my Dad, Kevin, for doing the honors of dumping the frigid water on me. Not only that, but a HUGE shout out to my youngest sister, Kristen, for being my camera lady tonight—her first time running manual video on a DSLR! :-D she did a bang-up job of interpreting my instructions, and I am so proud of her. And, well, finally, I want to nominate three awesome people: Kaitlin Whelan, Billy Brown and Courtney Holmes. I know you guys can do it, and I cant wait to see what comes of your challenges—spread that awareness! You guys have 24 hours.
