So as a Nurse.....I just want to say that Im sick of hearing about how it was the nurses fault she was exposed to this terrible virus....trust me when I tell you all that PPE is something that all nurses are trained on early on and believe me when I tell you that we want to protect ourselves....she is a hero...do you all think she wanted to expose herself to even caring for this man?? As a Nurse you dont get to pick and choose who we treat!! and to be fair.....if the news media and everyone else who wants to play the blame game....How about blaming the ER Doctor who was told from a nurse that this pt.was from Africa and what did he do?? He wrote prescription for an ATB and sent this man home!!! But then again if our Government would really be honest with the American people or the world for that matter and restrict flights to and from Africa maybe we could get a handle on this....but then again I have to remind myself this is election cycle so we have no hope in them....Nurses follow orders from Doctors...when this man went to ER on day one or if he wouldnt have been allowed in our country we wouldnt be blaming this nurse and she wouldnt be fighting for her life! And Im not a racist for saying oh dont let them in cause they are from Africa!! I could care less what country they come from it could be Spain,England Tim buck two...I would still say restrict the flights from where the Epidemic is at!! And by the way...this nurse could of done PPE correctly but if there was just one tiny little tear or hole not visible to the human eye...she would have been exposed at no fault of her own!! How about everyone stop blaming this one individual.....seems like a lot of people including our wonderful CDC got it wrong!! The best thing any of us can and should be doing is Praying!!!.... Rant over....
