So as a young man with 4 kids and a wife, my grandfather, Augustine Mario Lefty Acevedo, moved from the Bronx to a small few acres further up state and set up a makeshift farm where he held animals, traded and sold them... I remember having to work on this farm and I HATED IT! I used to have nightmares of the goats getting loose and chasing me up the hill... Can you imagine as Im getting older I tell myself... It would be nice to have a small piece of land with some animals... Lol It amazes me how much my mind changes as I get older... I damn sure am not a farmer but I do have the experience I guess...
