So as it stands right now, we have a president who addressed the graduates of West Point, essentially telling them that they are not necessary who at the same time declared outright that all American troops will be out of Afghanistan by 2016, while simultaneously deciding that the trade for one American soldier for 5 top level Taliban/Al Queda types was a good enough idea that he need not follow the law he signed in doing this. In his spare time, he also decided that coal fired plants are just wrong, and implemented unattainable goals for that industry, effectively eliminating that entire industry from our economy. Meanwhile, Seattle has decided that 15 bucks an hour is the minimum paycheck for the folks flipping burgers at McDonalds, despite the insanity of that notion. Every agency in the country that has a stake in the trading of one soldier for terrorists thinks this is bad, economists agree basically that this minimum wage thing is a disaster, the constitution says that the president ignoring the very laws he signed is actually illegal in every respect, and there are no real allies left on the world stage based on this presidents inability to lead or even gain common ground...... So how exactly is any of this good? In one way only, as far as I can see - much like with the past president we had who was this inept, it led to a generation of republican control, which is a good thing. My hope is that this will not come too late - we still have to survive another almost three years of this clown president prancing around and screwing everything he touches up. I refer there of course to Carter, who has come out lately saying that Obama is a disaster...and that is condemnation that can not be ignored.
