So as most of you know I went into the hospital on Tuesday for what seemed to be a heart attack. Figured Id update everyone here as some are not on my other page. Everything turned out great, ticker is strong as a freight train... SO what was wrong you ask...? Why did it feel like an elephant sitting on my chest...? Well I was painting RZMasks without wearing one myself. My production has gone up three times as I now have two mannequin heads and my awesome manifold to speed things up so the air space didnt clear as fast as it did before. Turns out that it was repertory not cardiac. I was pre mixing my colors with 4011 reducer in one ounce bottles to keep the color consistent (I used Pure Pigments to punch up the color) and adding 4012 to punch up my drying time etc. right before I was going to spray. This is a lesson in respirators, use them, I my not if Im doing a panel or tank with low pressure but I was pounding the paint into the neoprene fabric at 45-50psi. So please use some sort of respirator guys. I wish I was that Monday night.
