So as most of you notice Ive been posting a lot of inspirational quotes and pictures lately just trying to stay positive in the life that I am fortunate to have. But for some reason this morning I woke up in a really bad mood and had no idea why and it was really bugging me. I had a conversation with my friend Rachael Grieve about going to goodwill tomo to see if they need any volunteers because I am off work and thought that might make me feel better. But as I was getting ready for work this morning I noticed I have a few extra pair of shoes laying around and decided to make it my mission today to find someone less fortunate to give a pair to. So as I got to work I saw a young man sitting in the back of our store on our loading dock who looked like he was homeless. So I approached him and started to talk and sure enough he moves around from gas station to gas station looking for donations so he can make it through the day. So what did I do?! I gave him my extra pair of Nikes! His face lit up like a little kid on Christmas, and I cant explain the feeling I got from seeing him smile. Not only did I make his day better, but I made my day better. Have a good day everyone, be thankful for what you have!
