So, as most of you will know, I volunteer for an animal rescue group called SAFE Perth. We take in abandoned, neglected and/or abused animals from all over WA. We do this all on a shoe-string budget, as we are all volunteers. No one gets paid. Any monies we get for the adoption fees goes back into paying for expensive and life saving surgeries. Like Remos cancer treatments, or Pumbas multiple ear surgeries, or Farleys treatment for his horrible wounds. Our biggest event is the Annual Quiz Night. We raise in excess of $10,000 every year, and are hoping to crack $20,000 this time. Aiming high! In order for us to do this, we need awesome silent auction prizes, and raffle prizes too, to encourage people to bid and spend big - so we can continue rescuing furries.
