So as most people know, I was laid off from my job of 10 years in April...Im also 7 months pregnant. I was lucky enough to find a part time job, but I obviously make nowhere near what I used to. Looking at the winter, I am trying to save money. First I tried refinancing my car...oh sorry, nope, you have no income but nice credit score! Duh, having no income is why I am trying to refinance. I have NEVER missed or been late on a car payment in my life. Next I tried my mortgage company. Hey I am unemployed, Ive never missed a mortgage payment or have been late, is there anything we can do to lower my payments for the winter Sure, lets look into it, we have programs just for this situation! Oh sorry...you dont qualify So who the hell qualifies?? I have never asked for help in my life financially. I pay everything on time...The reason I didnt qualify for mortgage help is because I have not missed a payment and refused to say that I anticipate missing a payment. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!! Usually I am a private person, and would never post things about my financial situation on Facebook (Im more about posting pics of my cats), but I am beyond frustrated right now!!!!!!!!!
